NONETHELESS, 35.1% OF THE POPULATION IS EXPERIENCING SEVERE HOUSING COST BURDEN, AND 11.3% OF THE POPULATION IS ENROLLED IN SNAP, OR FOOD ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS.LANGUAGE PROFICIENCYWITHIN LOS ANGELES COUNTY, 56.6% OF RESIDENTS SPEAK A LANGUAGE OTHER THAN ENGLISH AT HOME.
