Schedule I, Part I, Line 2 Procedures for monitoring use of grant funds. There is a committee of volunteers who review, visit, and evaluate all the grant applications. The organizations must be: 503c3 organizations in Westport, Weston, Wilton, Norwalk, Fairfield, Bridgeport serving children and/or young adults Purpose: Is to provide grants to organizations that focus on closing the "achievement gap" in education. Grants are intended to enhance educational opportunities in a transformational way and, as a result, may include a wide range of programs Those who received grants will have to submit an initial report and a final report on project/program funded by the BFSRF that will include how funds have been used.
