THE COMMITTEE BASES ITS DECISIONS, IN PART, ON APPROPRIATE COMPENSATION COMPARABILITY DATA. COMPARISONS ARE MADE BETWEEN USWEM AND OTHER ORGANIZATIONS BASED ON ORGANIZATION SIZE (REVENUE, ASSETS, NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES, ETC.). IN ADDITION, THE COMMITTEE UTILIZED COMPENSATION STUDIES AND OUTSIDE CONSULTANTS TO REVIEW THE CEO'S COMPENSATION. THE COMMITTEE EVALUATED THE CEO'S GENERAL MANAGEMENT AND LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES AS WELL AS HIS PERFORMANCE AGAINST THE KEY OBJECTIVES SET AT THE BEGINNING OF THE YEAR. |
