THE SUPPORT FOCUSED ON HELPING THIS GROUP THINK ABOUT WHAT IT MEANS TO COLLECTIVELY ADVANCE EQUITY IN SUPPORTING STUDENT'S SOCIAL EMOTIONAL HEALTH. IN ADDITION, THE FOUNDATION SUPPORTS THE JED FOUNDATION TO PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO COMMUNITY COLLEGES IN ENVISIONING WHAT IT MEANS TO PROVIDE SOCIAL EMOTIONAL SUPPORTS ON CAMPUS. FINALLY, THE FOUNDATION ALSO PROVIDED FACILITATION SUPPORT TO NONPROFIT LEADERS WORKING ON YOUTH RESILIENCY TO SUPPORT THE SHARING OF BEST PRACTICES AND CREATING A NETWORK TO SUPPORT WELLBEING AMONG THESE LEADERS. THIS WAS PARTICULARLY RELEVANT DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. COMPLETED CONTRACT WITH WESTAT, WHICH UNDERTOOK A COMMUNITY-WIDE ASSESSMENT ON WHAT RECOVERY SUPPORTS LOOK LIKE CURRENTLY, AS WELL AS THE OPPORTUNITIES AND GAPS. THEIR WORK WILL GUIDE FUTURE INVESTMENTS IN THE FOUNDATION'S ADULT RECOVERY PRIORITY. PROVIDED SUPPORT TO ASSESS AND BUILD COLORADO'S FAMILY, FRIEND, AND NEIGHBORS (FFN) NETWORK (EARLY CHILDHOOD PRIORITY). SINCE FFN IS INFORMAL CARE, IT CAN BE DIFFICULT TO IDENTIFY PROVIDERS AND FULLY ASSESS THEIR NEEDS STATEWIDE. PROVIDED CONSULTING SUPPORT TO SIX COLORADO COMMUNITIES THROUGH OUR HOUSING READINESS PROGRAM, WHICH PROVIDES PRE-DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT TO HELP ADVANCE READINESS FOR LOCAL HOUSING PROJECTS. PROVIDED TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE SUPPORT TO A COHORT OF 15 FOOD COALITIONS THROUGHOUT COLORADO FUNDED THROUGH THE COMMUNITY FOOD SYSTEMS FUNDING OPPORTUNITY, WHICH AIMS TO SUPPORT COMMUNITIES TO ADVANCE EQUITY AND SYSTEMS CHANGE IN THEIR LOCAL FOOD SYSTEMS. PROVIDED CONSULTING SUPPORT FOR THE HEALTHY SCHOOLS LEADERSHIP COUNCIL, WHICH MET SEVERAL TIMES IN 2020 AND HOSTED A HANDFUL OF HEALTHY SCHOOLS EVENTS. PROVIDED BACKBONE SUPPORT FOR A PROGRAM OFFICE TO OVERSEE AND IMPLEMENT THE RECOMMENDATIONS OUTLINED IN THE COLORADO BLUEPRINT TO END HUNGER. THE BLUEPRINT IS A FIVE-YEAR PLAN TO END HUNGER FOR ALL COLORADANS DEVELOPED BY INDIVIDUALS AND ORGANIZATIONS FROM ACROSS THE STATE ADDRESSING OR EXPERIENCING HUNGER IN THEIR OWN HOMES AND COMMUNITIES.HOSTED A LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FOR NONPROFIT STAFF IN FOUR COUNTIES ACROSS COLORADO, AND SUPPORTED IN-DEPTH ORGANIZATIONAL CAPACITY BUILDING IN FOUR COMMUNITIES ACROSS COLORADO THROUGH OUR LOCALLY FOCUSED WORK.SUPPORTED CONFERENCE ATTENDANCE FOR NONPROFIT ORGANIZATIONS.CONTINUED EVALUATION OF WORK IN OUR ADVOCACY STRATEGY DESIGNED TO CREATE A MORE EQUITABLE ECOSYSTEM OF ADVOCACY, WITH A FOCUS ON HOW EFFECTIVELY OUR FUNDING IS BUILDING THE CAPACITY OF THE ADVOCACY ECOSYSTEM TO ACHIEVE MORE EQUITABLE POLICY OUTCOMES IN COLORADO (ADVOCACY PRIORITY EVALUATION). COLLECTED RECOVERY STORIES FROM PEOPLE ACROSS COLORADO AS PART OF OUR STUDY DESIGNED TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THE EXPERIENCES OF ADULTS WHO ARE IN RECOVERY, TO INFORM THE FIELD AND OUR FUTURE STRATEGIES TO SUPPORT RECOVERY (ADULT RECOVERY). CONDUCTED AN EVALUATION OF OUR AFFORDABLE HOUSING WORK INCLUDING STUDIES AROUND OUR HOUSING READINESS INITIATIVE AND INVESTMENTS IN COMMUNITY LAND TRUSTS (AFFORDABLE HOUSING). COMPLETED EVALUATION OF WORK AROUND ENHANCING LEADERSHIP IN PRIMARY CARE SETTINGS (PRIMARY CARE LEADERSHIP). COMPLETED THE EVALUATION OF OUR WORK AROUND ENHANCING ENROLLMENT ACTIVITIES RELATED TO PUBLIC FOOD PROGRAMS (SPECIAL SUPPLEMENTAL NUTRITION PROGRAM FOR WOMEN, INFANTS, AND CHILDREN WIC). THE SYMPOSIUM WAS CANCELLED IN 2020 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, BUT THE FOUNDATION FULFILLED OBLIGATIONS TO COMMUNITY PARTNERS.EXPENSES: $99,445PART II, LINE 22, GUARANTEE LIABILITIESTHE FOUNDATION GUARANTEES PRINCIPAL AND INTEREST PAYMENTS ON LOANS MADE TO OTHER NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS TO ASSIST THEM IN OBTAINING MORE FAVORABLE INTEREST RATES. WHILE THE FOUNDATION DID NOT INCUR ANY DIRECT CHARITABLE ACTIVITY EXPENSES IN 2020 RELATING TO THESE LOAN GUARANTEES, THE FOUNDATION GUARANTEED BANK LOAN OBLIGATIONS OF COLORADO BASED NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF $5.5 MILLION.
