AFTER A GRANT IS APPROVED BY THE ORGANIZATION'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS, THE ORGANIZATION ENTERS INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE GRANTEE. THE AGREEMENT SPECIFIES THE PURPOSE OF THE GRANTS, ALLOWABLE BUDGET LINE ITEMS, AND EXPECTED ACTIVITIES AND OUTCOMES. IT ALSO DESCRIBES THE PAYMENT PLAN AND REPORTING REQUIREMENTS. DURING THE COURSE OF THE GRANT, WRITTEN REPORTS DOCUMENTING THE PROGRAMMATIC AND FINANCIAL PROGRESS ARE REQUIRED PERIODICALLY; THESE ARE REVIEWED BY THE ORGANIZATION'S DIRECTOR OF GRANTS, PUBLIC HEALTH PROGRAM SPECIALIST, REGIONAL VICE PRESIDENT, AND CEO. AFTER THE GRANT PERIOD, A FINAL REPORT IS REQUIRED DOCUMENTING THE BUDGETARY AND PROGRAMMATIC RESULTS OF THE GRANT.
