PART I, LINE 2 - GRANT PROCEDURES BOSTON COLLEGE AWARDS NEED BASED FINANCIAL AID, INCLUDING GRANTS AND LOANS TO STUDENTS BASED ON ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS SUCH AS FINANCIAL NEED AND ACADEMIC PROGRESS. AID IS ADMINISTERED BY THE STUDENT SERVICES OFFICE. STUDENTS AND THEIR PARENTS COMPLETE EXTENSIVE APPLICATION MATERIALS, SUBMIT TAX RETURNS AND OTHER DOCUMENTS TO SUPPORT THEIR CLAIM FOR FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE. IN ADDITION, THE COLLEGE MAKES A LIMITED NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE BASED ON ACADEMIC OR ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENT. ON OCCASION BOSTON COLLEGE MAY PROVIDE GRANTS TO 501(C)(3) AND GOVERNMENT ENTITIES. THESE GRANTS ARE PROVIDED AT THE COLLEGE'S DISCRETION. FOR COMMUNITY OUTREACH GRANTS, BOSTON COLLEGE RELIED ON THE DISTRIBUTING AGENCIES TO ASSESS NEED. PART III, LINE 1, COLUMN (C) THE CASH GRANT IS REFLECTED ON STUDENTS ACCOUNTS. SOME OF THE GRANTS LISTED MAY HOWEVER, BE PAID DIRECTLY TO THE STUDENT VIA ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AS A MONTHLY 'NON SERVICE STIPEND'. THE GRANTS ALSO INCLUDE BOOK VOUCHERS, LOAN FORGIVENESS AND CHILDREN'S CENTER AID.

PART III, LINE 3 THE UNIVERSITY DONATED 805 CASES OF DIAPERS VARIOUS FOR DISTRIBUTION AT LOCAL FOOD DISTRIBUTION SITES AND AT THE BC NEIGHBORHOOD CENTER. PART III, LINE 4 THE UNIVERSITY'S DINING SERVICES DIVISION PREPARED "COMPLETE" FROZEN MEALS FOR DISTRIBUTION AT LOCAL FOOD DISTRIBUTION SITES IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING THESE SITES WITH HIGH-DEMAND GROCERY ITEMS.
