FORM 990, PART III, LINE 4A This year the Community FoodBank of New Jersey distributed approximately 100 million pounds of food to 800 partner organizations in 15 out of New Jersey's 21 counties, resulting in more than 85 million meals delivered to neighbors in need. 30% of all food distributed is fresh produce. The Community FoodBank of New Jersey's programs include: child and senior feeding, mobile pantries, resource access assistance, distribution of essential items including pads and diapers, chronic disease focused support services, workforce development training, emergency food distribution, and grantmaking.
FORM 990, PART I, LINE 1 Working together with volunteers, donors and our many partners, we work to fill the emptiness caused by hunger with Food, Help and Hope.
FORM 990, PART III, LINE 2 In FY21, the Community FoodBank of New Jersey undertook one additional program service which was not listed on the prior form 990. Specifically, the organization awarded more than $3.5 million in grants to 292 network partners, helping them sustain the pandemic response and increase their capabilities.
